The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is a superb example of Russian architecture and decorative art of the end of the 19th century. This unique monument was built on the site where Emperor Alexander II the Liberator was severely killed on March 1, 1881.
During the tour you'll hear about the history of this church and you'll see Russia’s largest collection of mosaics as well as a collection of Russian heraldic mosaics, decorative stones from the Urals and Altai region and other amazing things. You’re welcome to take photos on the tour.
