Catherine Palace

The Catherine Palace and park ensemble is one of the most famous former residences of the Russian Emperors, a splendid example of the Russian Baroque.It is located  25 km southeast  of  Saint-Petersburg. The display of the Catherine Palace museum covers  300 year history of this outstanding edifice. The major attraction of the palace is a famous  Amber Room- world famous chamber decorated in amber panels backed with gold leafs. This room is considered as the “Eighth Wonder of the World “ due to its outstanding beauty.

During the tour of the Catherine Palace you'll see the Great Hall and the Golden Enfilade of gala rooms that includes the world famous Amber room.

The Catherine park is also worth seeing. It consist of  two parts: the Regular Park – Old Garden ,and the Landscape - English  Park.

This tour usually lasts about 5 hours.
