Pavlovsk is a former Summer residence of the Russian Emperors, which was built in the end of 18th century. It is located 25 km south of Saint-Petersburg and just 4 km southeast of Catherine Palace. The first owner of this residence was Paul I – one of the most tragic and romantic figures in the history of Russia, who's also known as “Russian Hamlet”... Pavlovsk will charm you with its balanced, classical style interiors and a classic English landscape garden.
